This Turner Mark I Climax 678 ERC is better known as "Tatty Turner", which was famously raced with great success from 1960 to 1963 in the hands of Pat Fergusson and Warwick Banks as part of Gordon Unsworth's Team Turner.   More information about the racing accomplishments of Tatty and Team Turner can be found in an article "Turner", in the May 1977 issue of Thoroughbred and Classic Cars magazine. The car will be back on track in 2017 with GT racer Declan Jones at the wheel and is sure to once again be a front runner in historic motor racing.

Following the sale of Tatty at Auction in February 2003 the car recieved a complete restoration by DWR of Derby (Dave Whitehurst Racing) and the car returned to the track at the HSCC Finals meeting in September 2005 with With Michael Harding at the wheel, Tatty won it's class first time out. Look out for Tatty Turner racing again in 2018 with Kelvin Jones Motorsport who are preparing Tatty for GT racer Declan Jones.
