These photos show Roy Wood and his 'Superstock' that he built and raced very successfully in the late 1960's. The car was based on an unknown Turner BMC Chassis and had the front suspension changed for Triumph componants which were easier to replace when frequently damaged. The Engine used was an 1800cc B Series unit fitted with an HRG crossflow head. Roy does not recall where he obtained the Turner chassis , but thinks it was likely an Insurance write off in the Wokingham area.
