| This Mk III Turner Ford 1500 belongs to John Ruth of Michigan. It was originally imported to the USA by Turner dealers Fergus Fine Cars of Long Island, NY. The car is very original and is shown by John at British car events in the USA.The car has a 1500cc Ford Cortina GT Pre Cross Flow engine with a Cosworth rocker cover and reportedly the engine is as original and never taken apart from the mid 60s acording to period history and documents passed on from previous owners. The engine is in a rather hotted up state of tune and runs upto 6,000 RPM easily. The above photos were taken at the 2010 Put In Bay reunion car show. |
