This photo of VJV 479 was taken in March 2009. The car was owned by Mike Bolt of Kidderminster from 1970 - 1977. Mike bought the car back again in 1983 and it had sat in this garage for around 26 years awaiting a restoration. The car was supplied new to Ross Rentals in Leeds as a White Turner Ford with Red trim. The car was later fitted with a 1500 Ford Cortina GT Engine. The car is now in the ownership of Russell and Sarah Filby and a restoration is underway. The car was registered in Grimsby as VJV 479 and was one of 2 cars supplied to Ross Rentals. The other car VJV 893 is missing and was Red.

The car being recovered from its resting place of 26 years.

These photos were taken when the car arrived back in Bristol where a full restoration has been underway since. Russell & Sarah Filby are pictured here with the car. Follow the link below for additional images of the restoration as it makes progress.
