The top photo shows JEC 348 in 2014 close to completion of a full restoration by Ron Palgrave of Newcastle.
This Turner Sports Car had been stored in a barn in the North East England for over 20 years. The car was sold new from the factory with a Climax FWE engine, but at some time this was removed and it has a BMC engine fitted in it's place. The car was aquired by Ron Palgrave in 2003 and the lower picture show the car as found and the excelent restoration progress as Ron rebuilt the restored rolling chassis. The car is fitted with a new steel inner body built for Ron by Turner club member Nigel Taylor. Reg. No. JEC 348. |
