Originally white in colour 60/345 was registered 1 ALY in June 1960 built from a Kit by Anthony Young of Taunton Somerset the car was raced with much success by Tony in the early 1960's including a class win at the Burnham-On-Sea Motor Club's annual Weston-Super-Mare speed trials in 1961. The car is being driven in this picture by Tony Young in 1960. Tony sold the car on around 1963 and the registration number 231 YYC was issued to the car. |
This photo was taken around 1970 and shows the 2nd owner. The car had been repainted a mustard orange colour and was used up to around 1974 when the car was parked up in Bristol and advertised for sale as a restoration project in the Bristol Evening Post newspaper |

During 2004 Terry and Russell Filby decided to freshen the engine of the car, With help from engineer Bob Mayfield a performance 1098cc A series engine was built utilising a rare Alexander cross flow 7 port Alloy head. |
