This 1959 950s was identified to the Turner register by David Inglis in Scotland during October 2004. Although very complete it had been standing and exposed to the elements for many years. It later emerged that the car had been in the same family from new and had been supplied in 1959 as a Kit. The car was built in West Sussex where the number 9 NPC was allocated to the car. In March 2005 the owners agreed a sale to former Turner employee Ken Robbins of Bridgenorth and a recovery operation was carried out on March 12th 2005 where the car was collected and repatriated back 'Home' to Wolverhampton for restoration. Ken completed his stunning restoration of the car in December 2006 and 9 NPC is now once again back on the road and will no doubt be a regular award winner at classic car shows in the future.Pictures of the recovery and restoration can be seen in the image gallery by following the link below.
