Brian Sherras 1957 Turner 803 racer.   Reg. No. was TSV 483, Original registration SUF 1.

SUF 1 was originally raced by famous female race driver Betty Haig and later by Sue Taylor.  County records confirmed her car as 30/040 and supplied to Distributor for Sussex, Surrey and Kent, Swandean Car Sales Ltd, of Worthing.

The car was found abandoned and rescued by Dave Scott in Southampton around 1979.  At this time registered 872 DRV, the car was restored by former club member Lee Barton and then issued the number TSV 483 which the car retains today.  Later restored as a Vintage racer by West Country Motorsports, in 1992 the car was exported to the USA via New England Classics of Connecticut and raced with the VSCCA for a number of years in the ownership of Brian Sherras of New York.
The car returned to the UK in 2002 for a period and is now heading back to the USA. The car remains in the Sherras family.
