FSCC Turner Rally 2004 Crickhowell South Wales Sunday 18th July
Dear Turner Owners and fellow enthusiasts.
The
2004 UK Turner Rally is almost upon us once again, and I am hoping this
year’s Turner day at Crickhowell will attract a good showing of cars
and enthusiasts on the day. As mentioned in previous FSCC Turner Tattle
this year we have some special guests with a Turner connection
attending the rally in Tatty Turner race driver Warwick Banks, Fred
Lieb From the USA who competed in the 1959 Sebring 12hr event, and
Former Turner employee Barry Evans who worked in the paint shop at the
Turner Sports car works.
I am pleased to also announce that
another of Jack Turners former employee’s (1958 - 1966) Ken Robbins
will also be joining us on the day .
We are anticipating a good showing of cars , Including VUD 701 - Lord Chris Fulke Greville's Modsport race car - Possibly the Fastest Turner on earth ? aswell as some other interesting cars from fully restored to restoration project.
For
those who have not previously attended a Turner Rally, Marque cars are
to gather in the lower car park area which will be left free for us,
and cars and owners generally gather from 11am onwards. More
information on the Hotel and picturesque location can be found at
www.manorhotel.co.uk and all are most welcome on the day.
Many
Thanks to all in anticipation of your support for this year’s event,
And here is looking forward to good weather and good gathering of
Turners Sports Cars, Owners and Enthusiasts on the 18th .
Can I ask for a quick email from all those intending in attending.
Regards
Russell Filby
