Hi All,
I've started to remove the body (still attached to the inner panels) so I can sandblast and repaint the frame and panels. I have a little rust, but want to make sure its stopped.
Does anyone have any "words of wisdom" for this task?
I
was hoping to not remove the FG body to strip the inner panels, but
could be easily convinced to do this little amount of extra work.
BTW
- check your bolts holding your rear panel to the shock upright - all
of mine but one bolt sheared at very low torque and my floor pan was
not secured in the front to the frame. Glad I'm doing this work - hate
to think what would happen on the street or track if the shock upright
bolts decided to "revolt at the same time".
Thanks
Keith
