When I visited with Jack Turner and interviewed him for the first of two articles (which are posted elsewhere on this web site) he told me that his early cars were built in a blacksmith shop, hence the anvil, the rampant Welsh lions are self explanatory- Jack's a Welshman- and they represent Mrs. Turner and himself.
